Why P.O.W.E.R? Newark is on the rise. With $4.1B of development underway, incubators, accelerators and co-working spaces opening, and greater retail and amenities, we have a tremendous opportunity to help fuel what its future looks like. And the future is POWERFUL.

This one day event--presented in partnership with the Women's Association of NJPAC--is meant to uplift, empower and leverage the skills, expertise and knowledge of some amazing women entrepreneurs in our area. These women lead companies, balance work/life to push their dreams forward, are making great progress in real estate, finance, human resources and the arts. Other women entrepreneurs can learn from them, expand their networks and find real tools to advance their entrepreneurship journey. This is the Power Of Women in the Economic Resurgence.

There are over 2,000 entrepreneurs in Newark alone. Let’s learn from each other and grow.

We are excited to announce P.O.W.E.R Push, an initiative to support Newark based women business owners “pushing” through to new levels of business. 
 Earlier this year we launched the P.O.W.E.R. Conference which was an overwhelming success. That was the beginning and now we continue our PUSH for women business owners with additional ongoing support. 
The first step is for us to clarify needs. We know there is a vast amount of resources in the City of Newark and a lot of opportunity. Our mission is to support women- business owners in positioning themselves for the opportunity. To do that we want to identify gaps between opportunity and your needs.
